The youth gather early on Sunday morning and find sausage biscuits and drinks waiting for them. After a period of fellowship, fun and food, they come into the room for the lesson. As they come in, they sign the attendance sheet, put their offering into their respective envelopes, pick up their Sunday School quarterlies, and pens. Bibles are available if they did not bring their own. The quarterly entitled Bible Lessons for Youth, a part of the Uniform Series, International Bible Lessons for Christian Teaching is used. These lessons are designed for grades 7-12, with additional options for younger youth. They always have a key verse, the purpose of the lesson, and a Bible lesson for each Sunday. The students read the Bible lessons aloud, enter into discussions and complete workbook activities, which reinforce the lesson. Students are encouraged to write in their quarterlies. What they write is strictly private, between each of them and God. Our Youth director, Mr. Jimmy Wilbanks is there to give support to the youth and the teachers.
