Emily Rountree Nursery
The nursery consists of two rooms. One room is for infants and one room is for toddlers. The Nursery Coordinator is  Renee Gay.   Renee works in the nursery every Sunday, Wednesday, and on special occasions.  Nursery volunteers from the congregation are also used each week. The children play with toys or watch Christian videos geared to their age level.

Nursery II and Pre-Kindergarten
Teacher: Jean Hill

Mrs. Jean thinks this class is the most fun of all the classes. These 3 and 4 year olds really keep her on her toes. Literature for this class is David C. Cook, Bible-in-Life, Preschool Make It, Take It Bible Activities plus My Sunday Pictures Activities for Parents and Preschoolers. Scripture lessons are from The New International Version of the Bible. Each project reinforces the lesson by showing children how to apply what they are learning in that day’s lesson or by directly reviewing the Bible story. The child has a reminder what was studied to take home at the end of the class period.

Kindergarten and Elementary I
Teacher: Brenda Stephens

Children in grades Kindergarten through 1st Grade are welcome to attend!

Students enjoy a snack breakfast and participate in a faith experience.  It is during this time that they can come to a better understanding of God and what God calls them to do and be. They come to know Jesus as the Son of God and take his messages to heart. They seek where the Bible speaks to them today.  Activities, crafts, stories, and games will contribute to this faith experience. At the end of the time together, the children will have had a chance to meet God and to open themselves for a life-changing transformation.

Elementary II and Elementary III

Elementary IV and Elementary V

Literature for this class is Standard Publishing: Heartshare Pre-Teen Activities. This literature is published quarterly. This group really keeps the teachers on their toes as they are going from childhood into the first stages of adolescence.
